📣《AI Technology may be the key to reviving the Shrimping Industry》📣

Taiwan was once the shrimp capital of the world. Though just a small island, the technology, abundance, and reputation was globally known. Over time, the changes in water quality and the environment led to less and less shrimp. AI may be the innovative solution needed to revive the industry.
Traditional Shrimping is time consuming and tedious, with much reliance on the weather and water quality. Nat’l Sun Yat-sen University Prof. Shiann-Rong Kuang’s team combines innovative technology, underwater imaging and AI big data analysis to analyze real-time water quality, environment, feeds, shrimp activity levels, growth, numbers, and health. If any anomalies are detected, prompt analysis, diagnosis and solutions are offered. This greatly reduces costs and increases production. It also assists with lowering the risks of losing crops due to health related issues. With technology’s assistance, shrimp farmers have less worries and can focus on more efficiency and yield.
